Guest Artist/Changes At The Shop

Starting tomorrow, Dana Guest (formerly of Tsunami Tattoo/Under The Needle) will be doing a guest spot at the shop for a week or two until he moves to California. We feel very privileged to be able to work with him for a few weeks, the dude is a very talented artist. If you'd like to schedule something with him, contact either us or him (via his facebook page) and we will get something set up. Don't sleep on this opportunity. Here is the link to his facebook page where you can check out his work.

Due to the change in his schedule, we will be looking for another artist or two to fill the times that he wont be here. If you or someone you know is interested here is what we are looking for:

- AT LEAST 2 years prior experience in a shop
- Easy going personality
- Already has some what of a regular clientele
- Has or is able to obtain a Washington State Tattoo License/Bloodborne Pathogens License.

If you have these requirements, feel free to come in the shop with your portfolio and other art you have worked on and were more then happy to talk to you about employment.

When we bring another artist in we will extending the middle station into 2 stations. We don't know when this will be, but we will keep everyone updated, due to the fact that shop will be closed for a short period of time.

One last thing, our website is ALMOST done. We should have it up this week. Once we know i will post it. The site will have links to our email, the facebook page and this blog. I will post some pictures of some new tattoos later this week.

Picture Day

Jazz came in today and took some sweet pictures of the shop. Once we get them back we will be sending them to our buddy Jeremy (Cowardice/Red Room Owner) who is putting our website together for us. Everything should be up in the next week or so. We are pretty excited to have an actual website instead of just using facebook haha. We have some openings left this week too, so if you are looking to get tattooed feel free to come in or give us a call.

Heres 2 pictures of some semi recent stuff.

6 months

We hit our 6 month mark at the beginning of the year! So far everything has been going pretty well, minus a few set backs (the bricks getting thrown through the windows, etc.). We are excited to see what the future brings. We renewed our lease a month ago so as of right now we will be here til at least May 2012. We were expecting our buddy Chris from Last Chance Tattoo in Las Vegas to start working here in March but he wont be moving up as soon as he thought, hopefully sometime this year he will be up here. If you have a chance check out his work, hes a very talented artist and an awesome dude. He is hoping to come up and do another guest spot at the shop around February or March.

check out Chris' work here.

We <3 you bud!

Seems like the holiday money spending has come to an end, people are back at college and all the money people got for the holidays have been spent. We've slowed down a little bit but it was expected seeing as its winter. We have some openings left this week, so if you have any ideas for new tattoos or would like to finish one, feel free to come in and talk to us. There are few bigger pieces coming in later in the week which should end up turning out pretty cool. Ill post some pictures later this week.

p.s. tattoo removal hurts like a motherfucker.

Yelp.com

So we just had a yelp.com made. For those of you who dont know what Yelp is, its a site where people go and review places they have been to. Its an awesome tool to help people decide from a whether to go to a certain business or not. We would greatly appreciate it if people would go and leave reviews on the shop for us. Good or bad, let us know how we are doing (hopefully they are all good haha). If you have a few extra minutes, let us know what you think, if theres stuff we should work on, how your tattoo turned out, whatever it is, we'd love to hear from you. Thanks!
